Tutoring Cancellation Policy

Emmet Learning has a no-refund policy and a 48 hour rescheduling policy.

Upcoming Tutoring Session and Class Dates

An email will be sent with the upcoming month's tutoring sessions and/or class dates on or before the first of the month. It is the responsibility of the parent to ensure their child is present for all tutoring sessions and/or classes. No additional reminders will be sent. 


Missed Classes

Missed classes cannot be made up. No refund will be issued for missed classes. If your child will need to miss a class and you would like to request that class be recorded and shared with you, you must request that before the designated class begins. It is the responsibility of the parent to ensure class dates and times do not interfere with other commitments.  


Payment Policy

Payment is due up front. Payments can be made monthly. Exceptions will be granted at the tutors discretion. 


Billing change that will go into effect on September 1, 2025.


It is the practice of Emmet Learning, going forward, to bill one month in advance for all ESA families receiving tutoring and/or specialized class services.


All tutoring sessions or specialized class enrollment will be scheduled and billed by the 15th of the month prior to the month of services/classes. 


For example, we would finalize scheduling and a bill would be sent for tutoring sessions on October 15th, before November sessions begin. For specialized class enrollment, students can sign up at anytime and a bill will be sent on the 15th of the month prior to the month the class is held. 


This new billing change does not affect families who pay out of pocket for tutoring services or specialized class enrollment. Those arrangements are made on a case by case basis between Emmet Learning and each individual family.
