Through 20 engaging lessons, kids will explore the lives of Hannah, Samuel, Saul, and David, learning what it means to be a person after God’s own heart.
Kids often grow up believing that actions are all that matter, but After His Own Heart teaches them that while actions are important, God cares far more about what’s happening inside their hearts.
By studying the examples in 1 and 2 Samuel, kids will see that even when they make mistakes, they can come to God with a sincere and humble heart, knowing He will forgive them and guide them.
With After His Own Heart, your child will:
• Understand what it means to be a person "after God’s own heart," just like David.
• Learn that God values the motives behind their actions more than the actions themselves.
• Develop a desire to obey God from a heart that genuinely loves and trusts Him.
• Discover how to handle mistakes with confidence, knowing God cares about their response more than the mistake itself.
Inspire your kids to build a deeper, more meaningful relationship with God by helping them focus on what matters most—their hearts.

Session 3 of our study is just around the corner! If you’d like your child to explore the book of James on a deeper level, this class is for them!
The Gather ‘Round curriculum beautifully lays out the book of James verse by verse and leads children through a deep understanding of what it means to act according to our faith. We will ponder how well our actions mirror the faith we proclaim. We will look deeper at living what we believe and being doers of the Word and not only hearers. Students will engage in rich conversations with their peers about how the book of James relates to their daily lives. Join us as we continue our study of James.
If your child is new to our study journey, that’s okay… they can join us and jump right in. They do not have to have taken the first or second session as we will do a recap of the last session in our first class!

Learn about the incredible life of Kathryn Kuhlman and how God used her mightily in the area of healing through the God’s General’s Series for Kids!
Each student will need to purchase the book (sold on Amazon for $9.99). A ministry field trip opportunity will be offered at the conclusion of the class (Friday, February 2nd).
Students and parents will have an opportunity to share the Lord as well as give the kids a chance to practice praying healing over people at a train station near Cholla Park (Phoenix, AZ). More details to follow. Field trip is optional.
